Most anyone who has found this site already knows I have a
strong interest in cars, racing and family. My typical
introduction seems to be right out of twelve steps:
Hi, I'm Mark and I own Lotuses, it's been a year since I bought my latest car. Oh! Old 363 at the top of this page was my Dad's car in 1956. MarKell Motors was his shop in Grass Valley, California. This car used to race most Saturday nights at the Placer County Fairgrounds in Auburn California. Most of the owners then didn't have trailers and simply used a tow bar. Many Sundays were spent borrowing a trailer and driving back down to pick up a car that had rolled too many times to be willing to follow a towbar! Well, take a look around. I've tried to limit the home page to mostly text and left photos, images and other clever-but-slow items for other pages.
